The City of Pearland Zoning Board of Adjustments is looking to fill a vacancy. The Board of Adjustments differs from the Planning and Zoning Commission because the Board of Zoning Adjustments exercises no policy recommendation role, instead it serves in a quasi-judicial capacity. In this regard, it is much like a court of law.
All applicants for the Zoning Board of Adjustments must be residents of the City of Pearland and own real property in the city. Those who apply must be able to meet on the 1st Thursday of each month for approximately 1 hour. The position term is 2 years.
