Camping Night – Postponed Until April 25th

Grab your tent and sleeping bags—it’s time for a night under the stars! We are thrilled to invite you to SCR Camping Night at the Biscayne Bay Recreation Center.

Details:

  • When: Saturday, April 25 (7 PM) – Sunday, April 26 (10 AM)
  • Where: Biscayne Bay Rec. Center (13210 E. Windward Bay Dr.)
  • Setup: Campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

What’s happening:

  • Outdoor Movie: Grab a spot on the lawn from 8 PM to 10 PM.
  • Firepits: We’ll have firepits in the volleyball area to roast your marshmallows.
  • S’mores: The HOA is providing all the supplies for the perfect gooey treat!

What to Bring:

  • Tent and sleeping gear
  • Bug spray and flashlights
  • Your favorite snacks and drinks
  • Outdoor games for the family

Porta Potty and handwash station will be available.

Get creative and join our community art project! Head over to the Biscayne Bay Recreation Center (13210 Windward Bay Dr.) between April 13th and April 30th to add your masterpiece to the snake.

Participants:

  • Decorate your rock: Use your imagination! Just keep it family-friendly and use durable, outdoor-safe materials.
  • Label: To enter the prize drawing, write your property address on the bottom with a permanent marker.
  • Returns: If you want your rock back later, write “RETURN” under your address.

On May 1st, the HOA will draw a lucky number. If your rock’s position in line matches that number, you win! We’ll contact the winner to collect their prize at the office.

Pick-up Note: Rocks marked for return must be collected within one week after the event ends.

There are two different styles of Zumba offered:

  1. Zumba– a 45-minute, high-energy, dance fitness class offered on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm-7:15pm.
  2. Zumba GOLD– a 45-minute, low-impact, dance fitness class offered Thursday mornings from 11:15am-12:00pm.

Spring Fling

Dear SCR Residents,

Get ready to hop into spring! The SCR HOA is thrilled to invite you and your family to our annual Spring Fling event on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Emerald Bay Recreation Center (11814 N Clear Lake Loop, Pearland, TX 77584).

Enjoy a day of fun with:

  • Easter Bunny photos in the Emerald Bay Clubhouse (please bring your camera or mobile device). To ensure everyone gets time with the Easter Bunny, please keep your photo sessions to 3 minutes or less.
  • Egg hunts for two age groups in the open field directly across from the Recreation center. (Please use the crosswalk for your safety.)
    • Group A (ages 2-5): 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM
    • Group B (ages 6-11): 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM
  • Face painting, balloon twisting, and King’s Ice Cream (available for purchase).

We’ve scheduled a one-hour break between hunts, so families with children in both age groups have plenty of time to enjoy the other activities and meet the Easter Bunny!

Parking is limited at the Emerald Bay Recreation Center. Overflow parking is available at the Reflection Bay Office Condos (where the HOA office is located).
