PEARLAND, TEXAS –September 3— The City of Pearland is transitioning from Waste Management to Frontier Waste Solutions for the city’s solid waste provider. While Frontier’s official service dates begin on Friday, October 1, the transition process will begin the month of September.
Beginning Monday, September 6, Frontier Waste Solutions will begin dropping off both trash and recycling carts. Attached to those carts will include information such as service dates and holiday schedules. Most residents will continue to have the same service dates.

During the final weeks of September, Waste Management will begin picking up their recycling carts on their regular recycling service day after the carts have been emptied.
After the Waste Management recycle cart is picked up, Waste Management will service the new Frontier recycling carts until October 1st. However, Waste Management will not service Frontier trash carts. As such, residents should continue placing their bagged trash on the curb until October 1st.
After October 1st, Frontier will begin servicing residents using both the new recycling cart and trash cart.
