EARLY VOTING FOR THE MAY 6, 2017 LOCAL ELECTION
Early voting for the May 6 Local Election begins on April 24.
School Districts: Angleton, Columbia-Brazoria, Danbury, Pearland and Sweeny
Cities: Alvin, Angleton, Bailey’s Prairie, Brazoria, Clute, Danbury, Freeport, Iowa Colony, Lake Jackson, Manvel, Pearland, Surfside Beach, Sweeny and West Columbia.
Sample ballots are available at www.brazoriacountyvotes.com. Sample ballots can be printed and studied by the voter before going to vote in person.
Eleven early voting locations will be open for this election. There are several changes for this election due to regular facilities being unavailable and/or space issues. Changes are:
* Alvin – Nolan Ryan Center, 2925 S. Bypass 35
* Pearland West – Public Safety Building, 2555 Cullen Pkwy.
* West Columbia – San Jacinto Room, 512 E. Brazos
Regular locations open:
* Angleton – East Annex (Old Walmart), 1524 E. Mulberry
* Brazoria – Brazoria Library, 620 S. Brooks
* Freeport – Freeport Library, 410 Brazosport Blvd.
* Lake Jackson – Lake Jackson Library, 250 Circle Way
* Manvel – North Annex, 7313 Corporate Dr.
* Pearland East – Tom Reid Library, 3522 Liberty Dr.
* Shadow Creek – Pearland Westside Library, 2803 Business Center Dr. #101
* Sweeny – Sweeny Community Center, 205 W. Ashley Wilson Rd.
As always, any registered voter is able to vote at any location within the county.
Each early voting location will be open on the following schedule:
Monday, April 24 – Friday, April 28 – 8 AM-5 PM
Saturday, April 29– 7 AM-7 PM
Sunday, April 30 – CLOSED
Monday, May 1 – Tuesday, May 2 – 7 AM-7 PM
