Landscaping Operations Update

Wow, we sure have had some wild weather this month! First the hurricane, and then a lot of rain! While we’re always happy to have your landscaping nourished by nature, the rains have delayed addressing the regular mowing and trimming schedule as well as the remaining hurricane damage cleanup.

Regular Mowing and Trimming

The landscapers resumed mowing and trimming on Monday and are working east to west as per normal. Because the grass has grown so much during the rain delays the landscapers are having to remove excess clippings, which is adding a little more time to the process. They anticipate completing this week’s service by Saturday.

Ongoing Hurricane Cleanup

An additional landscaping crew is working through the community to remove large, dead limbs from trees. You have probably noticed that there are a lot of them, so crews will be working through next week to complete the task.

Tree Removal

Currently, there are a few dozen more dead or dying trees to be taken down throughout the property. The same crew removing dead limbs will work on removing those trees and stump grinding through next week. We appreciate the aesthetic impact of the tree loss over the last few years, so we have been working with your Board of Directors on a plan to add more trees to the property with available funds. We will have more information to share this fall.

We appreciate your patience as we continue to work towards restoring your landscaping and getting back into a regular routine.

Regards,

Community Management
