She has graciously offered her experience as a yoga/meditation instructor and her time to provide the residents of SCR an outlet for the stress and anxiety that we have all been experiencing in the wake of Hurricane Harvey. Melanie will be guiding the group through meditation exercises that you can then take with you and practice on your own at home. A brief introduction will begin promptly at 630pm\, followed by 30 minutes of meditation.\n\nPlease bring a towel/small blanket/yoga mat/cushion to sit on\, a bottle of water\, as well as a sweater/socks to keep you warm (your body temp may drop during the process). Dress in yoga type or loose fitting\, comfortable clothing and arrive on time\, or a few minutes early\, as not to disturb others once we begin. There will be a maximum of 30 participants and is open to SCR residents only.
