The event hosts 700 athletes as they swim\, bike and run their way around Shadow Creek Ranch.  \nThe Shadow Creek Ranch Triathlon is one of the region’s top sprint distance multisport events.\nSprint Triathlon – 500 meter open water swim\, 13.2 mile bike\, 3.2 mile run \nEvent start time is 6:45 AM. The event typically wraps up by 11:00 AM  \nTROIKA (which translates to three of a kind or triple) was founded in July of 2010 after seeing a need for more high quality multisport and endurance events in South Texas.

DESCRIPTION:Wear your favorite RED\, WHITE and BLUE and come celebrate the 4th of July\, with the Shadow Creek Ranch Outdoors Group.\n\nThe event is FREE. But we have a limited amount of bib numbers to give out\, only first 200 participants\n\nBib number pickup will open at 6am\, at the Pavillion at the back of the basketball court.\n6:45 am to 6:55 am will be warmups by “The Burn Personal Training Studio”\n6:55 am will be the “National Anthem” followed by recognition of sponsors\n\nRun starts promptly at 7am. \n\nNo bibs will be given out after 7:05am. If you arrive 5 minutes after the run starts\, you will not receive a bib number. But you can still run.\n\nPlan to arrive at least 45 mins prior to start\, to get your bib number and to perform any pre-run rituals.\n\nIf you plan on driving to the Rec Center\, please note that the basketball court lot has limited parking space. You may have to park at the side streets at Half Moon Bay.\n\n*** We discourage the use of baby joggers but if you choose to bring a baby jogger\, you do so at your own risk. ***
